FSSAI

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India
(FSSAI) has been established under Food Safety
and Standards , 2006 which consolidates various
acts & orders that have hitherto handled food
related issues in various Ministries and
Departments.

ISO 22000:2005

It specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.

GMP

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a system
for ensuring that products are consistently
produced and controlled according to quality
standards. It is designed to minimize the risks
involved in any pharmaceutical production that
cannot be eliminated through testing the final
product.

HACCP

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is
an internationally accepted technique for
preventing microbiological, chemical and
physical contamination along the food supply
chain. The HACCP technique does this by
identifying the risks, establishing critical control
points, setting critical limits, and ensuring control

Halal Certification

Halal is an Arabic word meaning lawful or
permitted. In reference to food, it is the dietary
standard, as prescribed in the Koran. By official
definition, Halal foods are those that are Free
from any component that Muslims are prohibited
from consuming according to Islamic law.
